About Us:

My passion has been working with metal for over 35 years. It began in high school where I worked in my father's bakery as a part time baker and then switched to repairing and welding the bakery equipment. After high school, I attended Western State College for a year and then went to Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis where I went through an intense machine tool course. Then it was four years in the Navy as an Engineman and then, after my Honorable Discharge, I found work at a brick yard doing maintenance on sophisticated machinery.
Finally, I bought a one man welding and machine shop in my home town of Evergreen, Colorado where I welded and fabricated just about everything imaginable. While running my business, I was introduced to blacksmithing and fell in love with it. Forming and manipulating hot metal like clay fascinates me to this day. I later moved to Walsenburg, Colorado with my wife and opened up a blacksmith shop. I am also on the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Smiths, an organization devoted to the preservation and knowledge of the art of blacksmithing and an affiliate of ABANA, The Artist Blacksmith Association of North America.
I’ve worked on many wonderful projects over the years and turned out a body of work that I am proud of. I've made anything from wine cellar doors, to gates, handrails, lighting fixtures, fire screens and spiral stairways to name a few. I make my own designs or work with my clients when they have a design in mind.

Now I have developed a line of cabinet hardware to which this web site is devoted.

I plan on adding more lines of knobs and pulls and other products too. My hope is that you will enjoy these pieces for many years to come.
